Sharing the Gospel One Shoebox at a Time

Faith Bible Church is proud to partner with Samaritan’s Purse through Operation Christmas Child. Each year, our church family comes together to collect gifts, pack shoeboxes, and pray for children around the world who will receive them.

Every shoebox is more than a gift—it is an opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ and help share the Good News of Jesus with a child and their family.

Our annual shoebox packing event is a special time of service and fellowship for the entire church family. Children, teens, and adults all work together to pack boxes, organize supplies, and pray over the gifts before they begin their journey around the world.

Our Shoebox Packing Party

Each year, the Faith Bible Church family comes together for our Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing Party. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children, teens, and adults to serve side by side as we fill shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and other gifts.

As we pack, we remember that every box will eventually be placed into the hands of a child somewhere around the world. Before the boxes leave our church, we pray over them and for the children and families who will receive them.

It’s one of our favorite opportunities each year to serve together, enjoy fellowship, and be part of taking the message of Jesus beyond the walls of our church.

THE MISSION

More Than a Shoebox

Operation Christmas Child is about much more than the gifts inside a box. Each shoebox provides an opportunity for the love of Jesus Christ to be demonstrated and for the Gospel to be shared with children and families around the world.

Through Samaritan’s Purse and local ministry partners, these gifts are delivered into communities where children can hear about the hope found in Jesus Christ.

That is why we pack, give, and pray. Our desire is not simply to send a child a gift, but to be part of a ministry that points children to the greatest gift of all – Jesus Christ.
